Lightskin vs Darkskin : Stereotypes

Well its been a minute since the last blog I’ve whipped up but I noticed that the topic at hand has been avoided more than bill collectors and Jehovah‘s witnesses combined. Yes ladies and gentlemen I’m here to discuss the dreaded “light skin vs. dark skin beef” and whether I ruffle a few feathers or not I personally don’t give a fuck, Paul Walker died, I still don’t have a PS4, and my front headlight out so my life cant get too much more worse b. First of all let me get this off my chest, there is NOTHING wrong with having a preference. I hear women of all shades say all the time how they prefer a tall, dark skinned man over one of the lighter shade. I’m neither of those things but do you think their preference offends me? Fuck no b. The sooner you realize not everyone is going to want to date you then the better off you’ll be. All that means is you’re not their type and try your luck elsewhere. Now when dealing with preferences you’ll always have to deal with something’s you might not agree with or understand. For example, if you’re a black woman saying how you don’t date lightskin/darkskin guys you can’t be upset if you ever hear a black man saying he doesn’t date black women. You might not like it, you might even say “nigga ya mother is black”, but at the end of the day a person can choose to date whoever they want to date. Its just THEIR preference, not yours. Different strokes for different folks. Me personally, I love and have dated women of all races and will continue to do so. Martin Luther King didn’t die for us to just be date specifically within our race group dog so I‘m taking full advantage of his sacrifice. Now back to the topic at hand, I’ve seen way too many meme’s and tweets slandering both lightskin/darkskin people so I’m here to break down some of the stereotypes of both sides.

 

Stereotypes of The Light skin Community

Light skin males are feminine, emotionally weak, aren’t “real niggas”, can’t fight and often taking pictures in the mirror more than their girlfriend.

Light skin women are unfaithful, they don’t text back accordingly within a timely manner, they’re gold diggers, and they possess rather large foreheads. (this one however may be a fact)

Stereotypes of the Dark skin Community

Dark skin males have terrible credit, are “real niggas”, have prison records that would make even DMX blush, thieves, and are NOT to be trusted.

Dark skin women aren’t as nice looking as lighter skinned women, they possess almost no good quality hair follicles, they present ratchet behavior in almost every walk of life and their vaginas resemble the most tender of roast beef.

 

Conclusion: The stereotypes of both the light skin and dark skin communities are ridiculous. Of course they’re absolutely fucking hilarious at times when used in the right manner, but once its applied to crafting peoples real life mentalities it becomes a problem. All light skin dudes aren’t pussy like they presented. Need I remind you all that solid dudes like Max B, Ice Cube, the late Slim Dunkin and Pimp C etc. were all of the lighter shade. Light skin women aren’t how they’re presented to be as well as a matter of fact I don’t even know where the fuck the ‘whole not texting back’ thing came from. If she’s not interested she’s not going to text you back right away no matter what shade her skin tone is. Dark skin males aren’t trouble makers or constantly in and out or jail, some of my closest homies are dark skin and very much positive in the vibes that they possess. Dark skin women aren’t hideous by any means and shouldn’t be discriminated against just because of their complexion. Not saying everyone is model worthy but black is beautiful because of the variations of complexions we do possess and how we make them work for us. With that being said ‘chill fam’ and yall be cool how y’all be cool.
